Timelines CLM™ was built by in-house counsel, for in-house counsel — because nothing else on the market got it right.
Mighton Legal Operations builds software for the people who keep a business's legal house in order. Our flagship product, Timelines CLM™, gives legal teams a single place to manage, track, and control every contract across the organization.
But Mighton was never meant to be a one-product company. We're building a single home for the best tools and solutions that in-house counsel, corporate attorneys, legal operations professionals, and business owners need to run their teams effectively and efficiently.
Every tool we add will be held to the same standard as the first: built by people who've done the work, not guessed at it.
Founder & CEO
Cooper is the founder and CEO of Mighton Legal Operations, and a practicing General Counsel who spent years living inside the exact problem Timelines CLM™ solves. Cooper went to college in Arizona before attending law school on the east coast. After working in litigation for a couple years, Cooper answered the calling of his corporate law career and never looked back. Almost a decade of practice later, Cooper realized the legal industry was far behind on legal tech solutions.
Like most in-house and corporate lawyers, Cooper managed contracts the way everyone does: a shared drive, a color-coded spreadsheet, and a running mental list of renewal dates. It worked, until it didn't. A missed termination window and a frantic afternoon compiling contract exposure for the executive team made it clear that "the way everyone does it" wasn't a system, it was a liability waiting to happen.
So he built the tool he actually wanted to use. Not a bloated enterprise platform sold by people who've never read a contract, and not a generic project management tool bent sideways to fit legal work. Timelines CLM™ is built specifically around how legal teams actually think about contracts: as timelines, not tickets.
Co-Founder & CTO
Chris is the co-founder of Mighton Legal Operations and has built a long, successful career in technical leadership and architecture. He brings multiple decades of experience building, managing, and shipping technical products.
That experience includes Timelines CLM™ itself. Chris led the building and shipping of the platform, and today he manages all engineering execution and contractor oversight for Mighton.
Cooper brings the problems he lived through as a practicing lawyer. Chris is the reason those ideas become working software.
The principles behind every decision we make.
Every feature starts with a real problem from real legal work — not a feature request from a product roadmap meeting.
No six-month implementations, no seven-figure contracts, no sales engineer required to see the product actually work.
Built for teams that pay their own software bills, from solo GCs to full departments — not just Fortune 500 procurement.
Feedback from teams using Timelines CLM™ shapes the roadmap directly — often within weeks, not fiscal quarters.
We're not trying to be everything. We're trying to be right for you.
Timelines, not tickets. Contracts, not "assets." Built around how legal teams actually talk about their work.
Live in days, not quarters — with no dedicated IT project or outside consultant required to get started.
Public pricing you can see right now, not a "contact us for a quote" maze designed to hide the number.
30 minutes. No slides. Just the product working on contracts like yours.
